Dottie

The image below is lovely Dottie, my new doggie friend.  Dottie was hard photograph today.  She was constantly on the hunt at Hopeland Gardens.  I had her owner, Jessica Owens, place Dottie up in a tree so that we could slow her down enough to grab a photograph or two!

On the Radio

What a nail-biter!  Wonderful Neil Gordon invited me to be a guest on his radio program "Buzz on Biz" today.  I was hoping...REALLY hoping...he wouldn't ask me any questions along the lines of "So, Heather, do you think economic recovery will begin in 2010?"

I knew I would have an answer if the questions were about where to get the best pizza or what's happening on the latest episodes of ICarly or Deadliest Warrior (my childrens favorites).  Neil's show is about business so I didn't think I would get off this easy.

Fortunately, the show went very well and you can listen to my segment (I'm toward the end of this pocast) by clicking here.

Many thanks to Neil and Buzz On Biz for a fun interview.

Elena and Scott

I am still reliving the wedding of Scott Bradford and Elena Wade last Friday.  Where do I begin?  I am in the process of working through hundreds of photographs featuring

a GORGEOUS bride and her handsome man

unbelievably beautiful flowers, thanks to Karin Jeffcoat

their wedding favors- individually wrapped plants such as little hydrangeas

a towering chocolate wedding cake creation by Donna at BellaDonna Sweets

chandeliers hanging from the live oak tree by Rye Patch, a historic home here

    and so many more details.

Check back with the blog in a few days and I will have their completed slide show up for you to check out every gorgeous minute of Elena and Scott's perfect day.

Baby Maddox

I had to post a picture of this adorable baby, Maddox. His Mom, Courtney, is a graphic artist with the uber-cool Skirt! magazine.  When she sent an email a while back about setting up a session for Maddox she sent a photo or two of her own along to show me what he looked like.  So, I get her email and pull up these photographs and there before my eyes is this gorgeous red hair on top of the cutest little boy!

He's friendly, too.  When I arrived at the Radtke home for photographs I had to spend a moment to two holding Maddox and getting my baby fix for the day.  He is so agreeable that he came right to me without a whimper.  He's quite the armful- what you might call a "substantial" baby;)

Check out his slide show online by clicking here.

Allison

Allison and I took a walk at Hopeland Gardens with her dog, Cooper, this week.  Allison is so comfortable in front of the camera that I felt I had to say and do little to get so many perfect photographs of her.  I love the little bit of wind in the photo above.
